Over the years I have been through many transaction and jumped on many bandwagons. As time went on I felt compelled to support the little guy, be it Samsung over Ipod or more recently Palm Pre over the Iphone. I always try to look the other way and purchase a unique phone, I am looking at the Nexus One, or EVO 4G right now. But now I just found out why Palm and Samsung are where they are.

This is a sad truth about devices these days. “Day One” jail brakes, hacks, and bricks are known for the prompt arrival on todays hot tech and are probably going to appear for decades to come. I recently entered in a contest to make a remix for David Latour’s song Friday Nights. I hope I make it to the finals but seeing as how I found about this very late in the game so I am doubtful of a any victory. There is always next time. I have some work to do on it so I will keep updating the song as time goes on until the 30th where I will have to submit my final draft. After that I will play around with it more and just release a final one here.

So here is a bit of information on what I had to do. First of, I had to download the samples (in this case they were just the voice clips you hear) and from there I could take it in any direction I wanted. So I just focused on what I am best at went to it. The original song can be found on YouTube. Friday Nights
